Dear Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 14th International Psychological Counselling and Guidance Congress which will be held between 15th-17th of December, in Royal Seginus Hotel in Antalya, Turkey. The congress will be organized in cooperation with Turkish Psychological Counselling and Guidance association and Akdeniz University. Psychological Counselling and Guidance Congress organized nationally by our association since 1991 will be international starting from this year.

As known, Turkey is one of the rare countries with more than fifty years of education and training in psychological counseling field at three levels (undergraduate, graduate and doctorate). Considering our 50 years’ experience in counseling training, we think that discussing the new initiatives in the field of Psychological Counselling and Guidance in the light of global and local needs in an international congress will contribute to the 21st century vision of the counseling profession. For this reason, the main theme of the Congress was chosen as “From Past to the Future Psychological Counselor Training: Challenges, Opportunities and Goals”. In addition to the main theme of psychological counseling training in the congress, there will be sub-themes which fall under the scope of expertise such as couple and family counseling, career counseling, school counseling, rehabilitation counseling and mental health counseling.

We believe that conferences, panels, workshops and various round discussions which will take place in the congress under the main theme and sub-themes address and broaden the vision of the 21st century of the counselling field and counseling profession. In this context, we warmly invite our colleagues from all over the World. We are looking forward welcoming you in Antalya, one of the most beautiful cities not only in Europe but in the entire world.

With our best personal regards
